Registration
What is the registration fee and what does registration include?
$125 through February 28, 2021
$150 starting March 1, 2021
Registration is not confirmed until payment has been received
Checks must be postmarked by April 1, 2021 otherwise registration may be cancelled.
Purchase Orders must be postmarked/received by April 15, 2021 otherwise registration may be cancelled.
Registration Fee Includes: access to all live and recorded workshop sessions through December 2021; access to all Sponsor and Exhibitor resources; downloadable Conference educational materials; networking opportunities with Sponsors, Exhibitors, and other attendees; and opportunity to earn up to 17 CEUs.
Will registration be open on the day(s) of the conference?
Online self-registration will close on April 25, 2021 and will reopen May 1, 2021 through December 1, 2021

Can I make changes to my registration information?
The information provided in the registration application will populate your Virtual Business Card. If edits to your registration information are needed, please contact Susanna@njpn.org as soon as possible. Changes will be accepted through April 25, 2021.
Cancellation/Substitution of Registration
What is the refund policy?
Requests for cancellation with full refund will be accepted through April 10, 2021, after which all cancellations/no-shows will be charged the full registration fee.
Requests for cancellation must be received via email to Susanna@njpn.org. Please include “Conference Cancellation” in the subject line.
What is the substitution policy?
Substitutions will be accepted through April 25, 2021.
Requests for substitution must be received via email to Susanna@njpn.org. Please include “Conference Substitution” in the subject line.
Scholarships
What are the HTS scholarship requirements?
The New Jersey Division of Highway Traffic Safety (NJDHTS) developed a special conference track to highlight issues for professionals to incorporate into HTS related work.
When registering, select Scholarship Applicant > HTS Scholarship option under PAYMENT INFORMATION. Your registration/scholarship status will remain pending until application is reviewed and approved.
Scholarship requirements:
Scholarship recipients must commit to attending the conference or notify NJPN to reallocate their awarded scholarship to another candidate .
Scholarship recipients are encouraged to attend the NJDHTS conference track featuring workshops addressing substance use and safety issues, however, there will be opportunity to attend all sessions on-demand through December 2021.
Scholarships are limited; applications due before April 15, 2021 or sooner if scholarships are filled.
What are the Tobacco-Free scholarship requirements?
Tobacco-Free for a Healthy NJ scholarships are available to participants that play a role in the Tobacco initiative whether in prevention, cessation, education or any other role.
When registering, select Scholarship Applicant > Tobacco-Free for a Healthy NJ scholarship option under PAYMENT INFORMATION. Your registration/scholarship status will remain pending until verification of meeting the necessary qualifications.
Scholarship requirements:
Scholarship recipients must commit to attending the conference or notify NJPN to reallocate their awarded scholarship to another candidate .
Scholarship recipients are encouraged to attend workshops pertaining to tobacco-related content, however, there will be opportunity to attend all sessions on-demand through December 2021.
Scholarships are limited; applications due before April 15, 2021 or sooner if scholarships are filled.
Attendance
What if I can only attend one day?
We strongly encourage you to attend both live days of the 2021 Annual Addiction Conference as there will be live Q&A with the presenters, networking, and games/raffles only available during the live event.
We understand scheduling conflicts may arise, so if you are unable to attend both live days the virtual platform will be open and accessible through December 2021.
How do I obtain my certificate of attendance?
General attendance certificates will not be distributed during the 2021 Annual Addiction Conference Virtual Event, as workshop certificates will serve as both proof of attendance and renewal credit for certification.
Personalized certificates for renewal credit are issued upon completion of each workshop. Each certificate is for 1 hour of educational credit and will serve as a certificate of attendance as well.
Upon completion of the workshop, certificates will appear immediately in the registrant’s profile under the Certificate tab (last icon on the top).
Will renewal credits or professional development hours be given?
Renewal credits will be awarded for all certifications issued by The Certification Board including:
CPS (Certified Prevention Specialist) recertification credits
CADC/LCADC (Certified Alcohol & Drug Counselor) renewal credits
MFT, MFT-Associate (Marriage and Family Therapist, Marriage and Family Therapist Permit)
LPC (Licensed Professional Counselor) renewal credits
LAC (Licensed Associate Counselor) renewal credits
LRC (Licensed Rehabilitation Counselor) renewal credits
CPRS (Certified Peer Recovery Specialist) renewal credits
NCPRSS (National Certified Peer Recovery Support Specialist) renewal credits
CDA (Chemical Dependency Associate) recertification credits
CJC (Criminal Justice Counselor) recertification credits
PH (Public Health Continuing Education Contact Hours) NEW
WTS (Women’s Treatment Specialist) recertification credits
CCS (Certified Clinical Supervisor) recertification credits
Department of Education Professional Development Hours will also be awarded
Other credentials are not pre-approved and need to be submitted by attendee to their respective Board. Conference program, workshop descriptions and certificates of attendance are given to each attendee to assist individuals interested in applying for renewal credit to their respective Boards.
Renewal credits or professional development hours for Licensed Clinical Social Workers
NJPN is approved by the New Jersey State Board of Social Work Examiners to offer CEUs for 12 of the offered workshops for the 2021 Annual Addiction Conference. Upon completion of these workshops, a Certificate will be generated specifically for the social work credits and will appear in your Profile for immediate download and printing. What if I want to attend more than one session?
The 2021 Annual Addiction Conference Virtual Event platform will be open and accessible for registered participants through December 31, 2021 for on-demand viewing of all live and recorded workshop sessions.
Day of Virtual Event Tips and Tricks
What networking opportunities will the virtual conference provide?
We encourage you to visit the Lounge where you can chat and network with other Conference attendees, and to visit Sponsor and Exhibitor booths during the live event and through December 2021.
One-on-one direct chatting is available with specific Sponsors and Exhibitor booths visited during the live event on April 29 and 30, 2021.
Will there be support help available during the conference?
Staff will be available to assist with any technical issues you may be experiencing and/or any questions you may have throughout the live event on April 29 and 30, 2021.

Can I modify my profile or virtual business card?
The information provided on your registration application will be used to populate your Virtual Business Card and Certificate(s) of Completion.
If edits to your registration information are needed, please contact Susanna@njpn.org as soon as possible. Changes will be accepted through April 25, 2021.
The virtual platform profile allows personalization of how your name is displayed to other attendees for networking purposes, e.g. register as Joseph Smith for Certificates but known by Joe to colleagues.

Your login information will be provided to you days prior to the live event.
Please note, the username and password are both case-sensitive.
