What You'll Achieve

Upon completion of the 8-week course, participants will develop a basic level of competency and techniques on mindfulness concepts and interventions. To achieve and enhance overall personal well-being, participants will learn strategies that include mindfulness, reappraisal, and savoring skills.


  • Define and understand mindfulness, both conceptually and experientially

  • Identify at least four benefits of the effect of mindfulness meditation and practices on personal well-being

  • Utilize mindfulness skills to manage stress reactivity to internal and external stressors

  • Develop mindfulness skills to utilize as a Peer Recovery Specialist

Renewal Credits
16 educational hours can be applied to re-certification for CPRS and NCPRSS.

  • Apply online using our registration form. We review all applications to ensure qualification and correct placement.

  • NJPN will follow up with you to confirm your entry to the training program. You're on your way to mindfulness!

Please Note:

These trainings are multi-week commitments and attendance is crucial in order to receive credits. Partial credit will not be given for incomplete attendance.
