Jackie Thompson joined Plymouth County Outreach as a full-time Recovery Coach as of June 4, 2024. After taking a step away from teaching during Covid, Jackie did a lot of self-exploration and worked on improving herself physically (due to health complications) as well as mentally and emotionally. Due to her lived experiences and passion for helping others, especially those often overlooked, she felt her efforts would be better utilized in the field of recovery and mental health.

As a licensed educator, Jackie is also a student for life, always working to be the best version of herself. She is eager to work as a recovery coach where she will have the opportunity to help others do the same- whatever it means for that person. Jackie understands that we all come from diverse backgrounds, experience different things, possess different personalities, and harbor unique strengths and weaknesses, but we are all human and deserve to be able to live the best life possible.
