Deirdre is a former kindergarten teacher turned sewing instructor. She has been working with kids for over 20 years and loves to foster creativity in the next generation. At the Shop you’ll find her cheerfully leading our Old Spool After School classes, but when she is not teaching, she loves making modern quilts and upcycling thrifted clothes to have quilty touches. She especially loves any fabric that has a little critter on it and will always fangirl with you about her love of Ruby Star Society fabrics.
