3-hour Mandatory Legal Standards: April 10th, 2026

The 3-Hour Renewal Mandatory Legal Standards training is for all LCADCs and CADCs who previously completed the 6-hour course in their initial renewal cycle and need to satisfy the bi-annual requirement established by the Division of Consumer Affairs for all NJ licensed and certified counselors.

About the Training

Who should attend:

  • You may apply to this training if you have NOT completed an initial Mandatory Legal Standards training

  • To qualify for this training, you must be working for a DMHAS-licensed substance abuse treatment facility and hold an LCADC or CADC.

This training satisfies the mandatory requirement for 2022 renewal application for all NJ CADC & LCADC as established by the NJ Division of Consumer Affairs. Partial credit is not issued.

Renewal Credit Information

This course is tuition-based. If you work for a DMHAS-contracted SUD treatment agency, you are eligible to apply for this training when it is available for scholarship. If you choose to enroll in this course, please note that the indicated fee will apply.
