Workshop Session 4
Welcoming Joy into Recovery: The Daily Practice of Gratitude
Joy is an important part of long-term recovery! Depending on our pasts, it can be hard to welcome joy into our lives or feel that we're worthy of experiencing it. With gratitude practices, you can begin to experience more joy in your day-to-day.
In this discussion we'll explore the following:
The practice of gratitude and how that's a gateway to joy.
How we, as people in recovery, are deserving of experiencing joy, despite what might have happened in our past.
Simple "in-the-moment" practices on how we can start to feel gratitude and joy in our daily lives.
