Adi Jaffe, Ph.D. is a world-renowned expert on mental health, addiction, relationships and shame. He was a UCLA lecturer in the Psychology department at UCLA for the better part of a decade and was the Executive-Director and Co-Founder of one of the most progressive mental health treatment facilities in the country—until he started IGNTD, a Smart Personalized Adaptive Recovery System. Dr. Jaffe's work and research focus on changing the way people think about, and deal with mental health issues. He is passionate about the role of shame in destroying lives and aims to greatly reduce the stigma of mental health in this country. In this context, Dr. Jaffe has used his personal experience as an incredibly effective inspirational and motivational tool.

Rebranding Your Labels
We use labels for everything and they allow us to make sense of the world. But labeling people can be hurtful and limiting, especially when it comes to what happens between our ears. We’ve grown up labeling ourselves and others subconsciously and, overtime, these labels can play out in a way that is limiting for many of us. This talk helps you become aware of the science that traps you through labels and expectations as well as the tools to help break free!
As a result of attending this talk, you will learn:
How to identify when you are labeling others and what labels have been put on you.
Tools to release shame from these labels and what other limitations and feelings you have surrounding your labels.
Where to go from here—how to to move forward living in integrity and transparency.
