Creating Connections for the best health outcomes is not always a straight line.
This prestigious panel will tackle a multi-faceted public health topic while sharing their expertise on holistic and integrated approaches that respond to a dynamic landscape and varying human needs.
The panel will look at this issue through the perspective of behavioral health providers focusing on creating better access to primary care needs and from the primary care providers who focus on improving access to address the substance use disorder of their patients. The integration of care is opening more doors to services that improve access to addiction treatment and primary care for patients impacted by multiple conditions. The panel will discuss new and emerging ways individuals with substance use disorders are receiving better care in New Jersey through various models of integrated care. Successes, challenges, and steps to move forward will be discussed with this driving force of key state leaders in the field. This Power Session will be a conversational panel session with the above participants.
