
Mandatory Legal Standards Trainings
NJPN hosts virtual Mandatory Legal Standards trainings via ZOOM (Dates & Registration below) These trainings satisfy the mandatory renewal application requirement for all NJ CADC & LCADC as established by the NJ Division of Consumer Affairs (see notice: N.J.A.C.13:34C-5.2 d).

Scholarship Qualifications: L/CADC clinicians working in NJ-DMHAS licensed SUD treatment agencies may apply for a scholarship to attend trainings at no cost through a grant from DMHAS.

Course Credit Requirements: To receive credit for this course participants must attend the training in full as partial credit it not issued. For participants taking the classes virtually to earn credit participants must be visible on-camera for the entire course. Additionally, virtual participants can not be working, driving, or traveling during course.
6-hour Initial Mandatory Legal Standards Training: this NJPN course is for qualified** L/CADCs certified since 2021 who have NOT yet completed an initial 6-hr training.
3-hour Renewal Mandatory Legal Standards Training: this NJPN course is for all qualified** L/CADCs who completed the initial 6-hour Mandatory Legal Standards training and only need the updates provided for bi-annual renewal.
