
Mandatory Legal Standards Trainings 2022
NJPN hosts Mandatory Legal Standards trainings via ZOOM (see below* for Dates & Registration) These trainings satisfy the mandatory requirement for 2022 renewal application for all NJ CADC & LCADC as established by the NJ Division of Consumer Affairs (see notice: N.J.A.C.13:34C-5.2 d).

Scholarship Qualifications**: L/CADC clinicians working in DMHAS licensed SUD treatment agencies may apply for a scholarship to attend either the 6-Hour Initial or 3-Hour Renewal Mandatory Legal Standards course at no cost through a grant from NJ-DMHAS.

Course Credit Requirements: Partial credit is not issued. To receive full credit for this virtual course, one needs a computer/smart device with internet, camera, and microphone. IMPORTANT: this training is synchronous and interactive - no working, driving, nor traveling during the session. To earn credit, all participants must be visible on-camera as if attending "in-person" for the entire course.

6-hour Initial Training: this NJPN course is for all qualified** L/CADCs certified since 8/2018 who have NOT yet completed an initial 6-hr Mandatory Legal Standards training.

3-hour Renewal Training: this NJPN course is for all qualified** L/CADCs who completed the initial 6-hour Mandatory Legal Standards training and only need the updates provided in this 3-hour Legal Standards course for renewal due by August 1, 2022.
