Prevention Plus educates the community that addiction is a disease that is both preventable and treatable, and offers programs designed to equip children, youth and adults with the skills and knowledge necessary to make healthy lifestyle choices. We also offer staff development and training to community agencies in order to enhance the ability of the Burlington County community to address the full range of needs of our diverse population.

Collaborating with human service agencies, school systems, law enforcement, public policy makers, elected officials at all levels, the media and others, Prevention Plus seeks to maximize the resources necessary to bring about individual changes in knowledge, attitude and behavior as well as social and environmental change for our communities.

Prevention Plus advocates for changes in public policy appropriate to the prevention and treatment fields by alerting local officials, state legislators and the media to issues and needs related to substance abuse.
